Do you care about the future use of residential and rural land in Strathbogie Shire?
We’re looking for up to 30 community members (18 years and older) to join a Community Panel (the Panel) in February 2025.
The Panel will look at current evidence including the results from the issues and opportunities engagement to develop recommendations to help create the Rural Residential and Land Use Strategy and Urban Growth Strategy.
What will the Panel involve?
To be selected, you’ll need to be able to attend all three panel sessions:
- Panel session 1: Thursday 13 February 2025, 5:00pm - 6:30pm (online)
- Panel session 2: Saturday 22 February 2025, 9:00am - 3:00pm (in person in Euroa)
- Panel session 3: Thursday 27 February 2025, 5:00pm - 6:30pm (online)
We can provide support as needed. Let us know what support you may need to help you participate, in the expression of interest form below.
Who are we looking for?
Anyone over the age of 18 who lives, works or owns a business in Strathbogie Shire Council who is not a Strathbogie Shire Council employee or councillor (current or within the past 5 years) or an immediate family member of an employee or councillor.

You don't need to know about anything specific beforehand. You just need to be open-minded, ready to work with others, and consider the needs of the wider Strathbogie Shire and the information provided.
How will the Panel be selected?
Panel members will be selected via a random selection process by independent consultants, Capire Consulting Group. The process will seek to form a panel that reflects the diversity of the Strathbogie Shire community as much as possible.
