At Strathbogie Shire Council, we want our youth to engage with Council to create opportunities and connections for young people in their community and across the shire.

Council is calling on locals from across the Shire aged between 12 and 25 to join our youth crews.

The crews will come together to create opportunities and connections for young people in their community and across the shire.

Working alongside Youth Development Officer Annette Walton, you'll get the chance to organise local activities, advocate for youth-focused needs in your community, learn leadership skills, connect with other young people in their community and give direction to Council on youth-based needs and issues.

It is an opportunity to get involved, feel empowered and form a sound foundation for you to develop your resume and network with professionals.

The crews will also come together on a regular basis to converge their ideas from across the Shire.

Or, if music is more your thing, you can sign up to be a part of our FReeZA Crew.

Being a part of a our FReeZA Crew will help with building self-confidence and creating and developing professional relationships. You will also get opportunities to learn all aspects of event management including sound engineering, pre and post-production, performance skills, marketing and media as well as exploring various education and employment pathways in the music industry.
