This project is now closed.

Thank you to the 112 contributors who responded to our survey from April 22nd to May 20th, 2022.

We now have two contractors who tendered for the works to create a great play space in the park area.

Our first contractor is now installing an underground watering system and then our second contractor can install the play equipment.

See the attached diagrams of the play equipment that when surveyed you voted to have in the parkland area.

While we may not have all the equipment installed by Christmas (the wet weather has made in more difficult) we will be working very hard to complete this family area this summer.

Survey results can be viewed in the following report document:

Whroovale Estate residents - we want your ideas

Strathbogie Shire Council is seeking input from Whroovale Estate residents in Nagambie into a new play and gathering space.

Council has $60,000 to develop the open space bordered by Kheminda Cres and Jean Claude Ave, Nagambie.

Council had developed a draft plan back in 2019, which outlined play equipment and barbecue facilities.

We want to hear from local residents. Does this plan still meet your needs, or have your priorities changed?.

Council’s goal is to get this right, to ensure this open space, playground and gathering area works for residents in this fast-growing subdivision.

Feedback closes at 5pm on Friday, May 20.

Council is again seeking your feedback to determine if the previous concept design is still something residents would like to see in the open space.
