A message from our CEO

As you would have read in my email, we’re proposing to make some structural realignment changes.

The resignation of our Director Corporate Services David Roff has created some discussion about the structure, if it’s working, and how we set up our teams in the future.
I know it looks and sounds like we’re constantly changing, but to be honest we are, and we always will be as we continue to deliver great results for our changing community.

This time we are seeking to better align our projects, assets and works teams by creating a directorate we’re tentatively calling Sustainable Infrastructure.

What it means is:

  • The current Corporate Services directorate will become the Sustainable Infrastructure division.
  • The projects team will move from the Community and Planning division to the new directorate.
  • The community safety team will move to the Community and Planning division, and
  • The finance team will move to the People and Governance division.

As you can see the new division (click here to view) has a focus on delivery, engineering, and major projects. We think these teams will benefit from closer alignment.

We’re seeking your feedback on the proposed changes and you can do this using the submission form below.
Feedback closes at 5pm on Monday, May 9. We’re keen to hear your thoughts positive, neutral or concerns.

As always, we look forward to hearing from you.
