Council acknowledged the significant contribution of Avenel Active in the development of the Avenel Community Plan 2022-2026 and noted its completion at its August Council Meeting.

Avenel Active, your community action group, is starting to plan the next Avenel Community Plan for 2022-2026.

The Plan will inform Strathbogie Shire Council about our community’s priorities and guide Avenel Active in seeking funding and support for your projects.

To ensure the Plan reflects community concerns and interests we are inviting all residents, businesses, Primary School, Early Learning Centre and organisations to contribute their ideas.

Our Plan will also reflect the values, priorities and directions developed following extensive community engagement throughout the Shire which has informed the newly adopted Council Plan 2021-2025.
