You are invited to have your say and help us draft the 2026-27 Strathbogie Shire Council budget.

Each year, the council delivers more than 80 services to the community including waste collection, asset management, environmental health, local laws, animal management, building compliance, emergency management, statutory planning, early years services, community development, sport and recreation, facilities management (including the pools), community funding and business development to support our local communities.

With costs continuing to rise, it is increasingly challenging for council to balance service delivery with community expectations within the available budget.

So, we’d like your input on what you would like to see included in Council’s 2026–27 budget.

Residents will have another opportunity to provide feedback when the draft budget is placed on public display, which is expected to occur in April 2026.

The 2026-27 council budget is due to be adopted by 30 June 2026.
